National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), an autonomous scientific organization under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, is engaged primarily in the popularization of science among the people through non-formal science education.

Applications are invited for the post of Director General, who is the Chief Executive Officer of NCSM in the Pay Matrix Level-15 (Rs. 1,82,200-2,24,100/-) [total emoluments at start Rs. 3,65,288/- (approx.)]. The post carries usual allowances as admissible to Central Government employees.

The appointment shall be on direct recruitment basis for a maximum tenure of 5 (five) years or till attaining the age of superannuation, whichever is earlier.
